  When we arrived at Good Nite, we were pleasantly pleased to see many cars in the parking lots and several tour buses. The exterior quality looked "average" and the grounds, parking lot and hotel entrance looked clean. We were shocked to enter our rooms to discover a strong smoke odor , low grade carpet and poor quality materials. The towels, bedspreads, sheets were all well-worned. Furniture were very old and not of good quality with wood chips and difficulties opening drawers. The bath size towels were not much larger than hand towels and only bar soap and one bottle of shampoo were placed in the shower. When we complained about the strong smoke odor, we were given a can of Odor Eliminator and told that we could keep it in the room. It was difficult to sleep and no other rooms were available. The price was low, but I truly felt like I was staying in a sleezy hotel and paid an hourly rate!

  My daughter & I stayed here 1 night on our way to SF and had a pleasant night's rest. Our room was clean and our night was quiet. The continental breakfast was nothing out of the ordinary but we enjoyed it nonetheless.The price was good for our room and I would definitely stay here again.

  The room was dirty, the noise level all night long is ridiculous. the staff was rude and not at all helpful. i would never go back or recommend this motel ...

  The room was dirty, the noise level all night long is ridiculous. The staff was rude and not at all helpful. I would never go back or recommend this motel to anyone. I stayed there because I had a class in Moterey. I didn't get any sleep...the staff allowed an eighteen wheeler to park right outside my room and run all night. After several attempts at getting the staff to do someting about the noise I just asked for my money back to stay somewhere else. They wouldn't even do that. So, I was stuck in a NOISY, room. I might as well have stayed in my car alongside the freeway I would have gotten as much sleep. I will NEVER stay there again. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT!

• RUN FAST AND FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!

  The hotel looked okay from the hwy. the closer you got, the worse it was. the room was not clean and the bathroom had ""stuff"" growing in the cracks. maid ...

  The hotel looked okay from the hwy. The closer you got, the worse it was. The room was not clean and the bathroom had ""STUFF"" growing in the cracks. Maid service...what service??! The beds were not made and no towels were left. I had to go to the front desk to get towels. The check in process was slow and the clerk acted as if he had no clue as to what he was doing. There is no hair dryer or iron in the room. Internet service is provided for an extra charge.If you plan to be in the area, do yourself a favor by not even passing by this travesty called a hotel

  Booked for a last minute weekend trip and called to confirm it would be a non-smoking room. I was put on hold --and hung up on. I was put on hold again--and hung up on again. I called back a third time and finally got through only to have a very rude person on the other end tell me that the reservation cannot be valid because they're completely booked. When I asked how long they'd been booked for, they dodged the question and replied that I should call travel website. I asked again and they said for a week they've been booked. I don't believe this for a moment, considering I've read other reviews with them saying they're ""fully booked"" yet the parking lot was empty morning-noon-night. This was completely unacceptable customer service on their part. Travel website refunded my reservation and gave me a discount for next time. I'm a very patient person, but I will NEVER try for this hotel again, no matter HOW good the price is.
