  I have stayed in the hotel with my friend for 2 nights and accidentally left our good quality 2 jackets and 2 pair of shoes in the closet. When we called the hotel next morning the service person was very rude and said that nothing is found. We were not guessing that our things might be there, we know for sure that our belonging was in the closet and we saw cleaning lady in the room right after we left. Since her responsibility is not only to change beds but to check a closet as well, it means for us that she stole our belonging. The hotel staff does not want to do anything about this.

  This hotel was the best Holiday Inn Express I have ever stayed in. The rooms were large and well appointed with flat screen TV, good water pressure in the shower, a large area around the sink for toiletries, and a wonderful breakfast included. The beds were comfortable and the hotel was quiet. The exercise room was somewhat disappointing (but again, adequate for the price). Although you could set the room temperature, you needed to decide whether he wanted air-conditioning or heat -- sometimes you need both at this time of year. Other comments on this web site had criticized the hotel staff, however this was not my experience. All in all, I would look forward to staying here again if the need arises.

  The only reason to stay there is they allow pets. I was turned off the minute I walked into the hotel by the sight of dirty, stained carpets in the lobby. My husband noticed an odor when he entered from the corridor to our room. When we requested blankets for the sofa bed, we were told to come to the front desk to get them.
  On the plus side, the continental breakfast was nice & a member of the staff got me hot water for tea while they were closing up.

  I travel with my Multi-poo and this was a great hotel that accept pets. It is close to the freeway and shops. The room was clean and comfortable. I thought the little care in the room telling quest that if they took a towel what the charge would be was a little too much. I would think a big chain like Holiday Inn could afford a few towel shortages....but maybe too many peoplw visiting the beach have taken them. Bottem-line, it was a good value.

  We were able to book the hotel just 2 days before we needed the room. My husband and I were just ending a 10 day vacation in CA. Good price! Nice size room. No frills - that's ok becuase we slept like a rock. We would stay here again.
