    Lots of things to do on property and in area. Trelises was a good place for dinner poolside. Walked behind the hotel for other places to eat and shopping. We took the trolley downtown to see the Midway and Seaport Village. No hassle or cost with parking that way.

    I would rate everythng from the operator to front desk as excellent. I love the smiles of all the employees. The spa looked nice but I did not have time to use it. The grounds were beautiful.

    Everyone working the front desk was fantastic both at check in and check out! Thank you. Very nicely maintained grounds and gardens. Love the roses. Too many staff members were great to list - all the servers in the breakfast area and especially the manager at Charlie's who went out of his way to accommodate all 41 of us for dinner and after to help with a special request. We already have reservations for approximately 41 people for next year, same time.

    The bellman came to the taxi to get our suitcases promptly and was very cheerful and seemed to really like his job. We were given a room in the exact location we requested. The rooms do seem to need some updating, but overall was fine. The waitress at Kelly's was like "your mom" the way she seemed to care! Room service personnel who took orders were always cheerful and sounded happy to serve you. No feeling of interrupting them - ever. Delivery personnel always cheerful and asked if okay to enter room. Always removed dishes from earlier service without hesitation. Nice to see roses and loved garden feel and chairs/tables outside were a very cute touch (outside our room). Check in, room service, housekeeping were all great staff - every time I saw housekeeping and groundskeeper they said "hello" before I did - they seemed to all make an extra effort towards friendliness - apprecated it. Good to have water bottles in room and dispensers for water in shower. I've stayed before and will stay again.
