• Wouldn't stay again although staff was nice

  When i first checked in, i went to my room and was assaulted by the smell. i'm not a picky traveler, i don't ever send dishes back in ...

  When I first checked in, I went to my room and was assaulted by the smell. I'm not a picky traveler, I don't ever send dishes back in restaurants, I don't really complain about service... But, I had to get a new room. There was no way I could stay in the first room offered. It smelled like puke and cigarette smoke. The people working the front desk are friendly and offer good service. I was immediately switched to another room. The new room is very bare bones and the carpet needs to be cleaned.

• great bang for the buck

  Breakfast was great - didn't get to check out the dinner. the room was very nice - i wound up with a free upgrade to the jacuzzi suite which was wonderful ...

  breakfast was great - didn't get to check out the dinner. the room was very nice - i wound up with a free upgrade to the jacuzzi suite which was wonderful after a long weekend of touristing around. kitchenette also a plus! would definately stay there again. super convenient to the shoreline amphitheatre & other places i was going
