  Nice place to stay for a night. beds here are a lot more comfortable than courtyard marriott. breakfast was average.

  Travelers beware! A giant manure filled mulch business sits directly behind this hotel. The smell permeates thru out the lobby, hallways, & rooms. If you ask about it when you check in the syrupy sweet clerk will probably ignor the question & talk about some other amenity. You will discover the manure hills by yourself when looking out the windows from the pool area. The breakfast for these rates is pitiful - frozen round white rubberized egg substitutes with a dash of yellow coloring - yuck! Black bananas & mini frozen sweet rolls. Don't bother with a request on your reservation as it will be ignored.

  As other reviews have noted, the Hampton is clean and quiet and the staff is friendly and helpful. However, the continental breakfast is mediocre. Although there were many choices, healthy choices were limited and not particularly good. Fruits, for example, were green and tough. In addition, food and utensils were spread willy-nilly over two long counters. Forks were in one location, knives in another, and spoons somewhere else. Coffee, tea and sweeteners, on the other hand, were well located at a third counter, somewhat removed from the other two, so it was not necessary to wait in the breakfast line for refills. However, the coffee was not good. The biggest problem was the hotel's location, in a rather seedy light industrial area about three miles out of town. The parking lot was posted every few feet with "not responsible" signs. Another guest's car was broken into the night we were there.
