  I enjoyed my stay at the Pacific Inn very much. The building is older but the rooms have been nicely remodeled and are comfortable. The room rates were economical and the hotel was very clean and quiet. I stayed on the "Park Side" on the advise of a previous traveler and I would pass that along as well, I couldn't hear any PCH traffic. For me, the location was Ideal as my stay was all about Seal Beach so the proximity to the beach, pier, and all the shops and restaurants was ideal. While not on the beach, it was a very nice short walk. Pacific Inn was a nice place for me on a very pleasant weekend. If you're not wanting or expecting a state-of-the-art hotel then you'll enjoy its quaint atmosphere. Have fun!

• Leaking Toilet!!!

  I would not recommend this hotel:The toilet was leaking and it was on the bathroom floor. The shower and part of the wall had rust stains. There were food bowls under the bed. One of the towels had someone elseâ??s hair on it. I had been told by another employee to ask for the â??park sideâ? because it had less street traffic noise. Unfortunately, I ended up right off the pool area and the walls and door barely blocked the noise out from screaming children. The hotel is going to bill me because it took my 6 hours to figure out it was the toilet leaking and not my dogs spilling water from the water bowl. I booked a room with 2 full beds and was offered a room with 1 king as a consolidation. I was not able to accept that and drove 7 hours back home.

  The bathrooms have been updated and are very nice! They also have new HD Tv's in the room and in the Cafe, which serves free continetal foods everyday. I would suggest getting a room on the back side of the hotel...Each room has a very nice balcony but we faced the road We were unable to leave the slidding door open becasue of the street noise. Just 4 block tp and from the beach and town walking is very nice in this area.....If you are looking for a quite beach location and great places to eat this town is for you! We loved it!!!

  Well appointed rooms and nice bathrooms. Small pool and hot tub, great staff. We will stay again. Free wireless internet, compliantly breakfast. About 8 blocks from the beach and loads of shopping and eateries as close as walking across the street. It was a very nice surprise.
