  Location is very good . You can walk to center of old Pasadena. Station of Metro and the entrance of freeway is so close that you can easily go to the other part of LA. Room is clean. Front desk is kind. Swiming pool looks clean but is just front of parking lot.

  We stayed here for two nights and it was spotlessly clean, roomy enough, comfortable, and attractive. The room comes with a small fridge and a microwave, which is fabulous given that a Whole Foods and a Trader Joe's are less than a block away. There's free wi-fi and a pretty decent continental breakfast--the usual, plus waffles and hard-boiled eggs. Also, although we didn't go there, there's a well-rated Thai restaurant attached to the hotel. My only complaint is the lack of a coffee maker in the room--who wants to walk across the parking lot in pjs for the first caffeine fix of the day? Other than that, the staff is friendly, helpful, and you can't beat $85 for walking distance to Colorado Ave. and easy driving distance to everything else.

  The Pasadena Inn, while not the most luxurious accommodations, was perfect for my recent trip to Pasadena. Only 4 blocks south of Old Town, it was easy walking distance to all the shops, restaurants, nightlife and fun the city has to offer. The property is well maintained, the service pleasant and efficient, and most important to me, the rooms were clean. And I couldn't beat the price. At least 20% less than anything else in the area. I strongly suggest this hotel to anyone.

  After reading some of the reviews for the Pasadena Inn, I was a little scared as to what we would find once we arrived. I learned a good lesson - don't believe everything you read. The hotel was clean and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The location was excellent - within walking distance to several restaurants and local stores. Pasadena is a great place. I rated the pool as bad due to the fact that is was October and I doubt that pool maintenance would be a priority for the season.
