  This Ayres suites hotel has an East side building and a West side building. The East side building which we got assigned looked like a two story motel conversion with some room doors facing the parking lots and some room doors facing the interior. This was not what we expected paying $119 for this Ayres MOTEL which is a Super 8 type of motel. Especially when we stayed at the Ayres Anaheim the night before where all rooms are interior to a building and had all the European paintings everywhere. This Ayres Corona West did not have the more comfortable comforter blankets but rather the typical motel thin blankets. Initially we were assigned the East facing room which was 80 F when we entered and was noisy because it was facing highway 15 (N-S). We then got a west facing room on the second floor. There was an out of place microwave and refrigerator counter in between the two queen beds. The carpet was dirty at the base of this make shift counter since it couldn't be vacuumed effectively. I checked out the west building which had 3 stories and this building had interior rooms just like the Anaheim Ayres. But we didn't get a room in this west side building. We felt short changed getting a motel 6 room for the price of an Embassy Suite price. The morning registration desk staff ignored my value complaint and also ignored my telling them that the hair dryer was not working and the shower head dripped water when it was on. It seems like that they have heard the value complain before and decided to ignore it. We are not impressed with this Ayres MOTEL and will not stay at this Ayres Corona West MOTEL again. NOT HAPPY!

  Great hotel!!! The staff was friendly and accommodating (especially X and the evening shift) - went out of their way to help; adjusted my room when it wasn't what I expected, delivering towels, etc. The complimentary evening "happy hour" was very nice - prepared food, not just packaged, variety of drinks provided, too. The wonderful, complimentary, hot, cooked breakfast was a blessing and everyone was so very nice. Coffee hot all day long!! Be sure to specify which "side" of this facility you want. The "European" side is more sumptuous (and costs $* more/night), what I was looking for in this trip - w/ a sitting area, wet-bar, microwave, fridge, workspace, beautiful bedroom. A jacuzzi tub was located on this side - very nice and relaxing w/ the beautiful patio fountain nearby. [Families would prefer the "Lodge" side, w/ more casual accommodations and the pool nearby.] Even w/ the location being right near the freeway, I was not disturbed by noise. A little tricky getting out in the A.M. onto main traffic road (have to plan your "attack" if needing to be somewhere else in the mornings), but otherwise no problems. The ONLY negative things I would mention is that there is a strong cooking smell when entering the Euro-building, as the breakfast room is open/adjacent to the lobby and not closed off by doors (but smell isn't evident elsewhere); the elevator wasn't vacuumed the whole week I was there; and registration is only available in one building (a short walk across the parking lot); HOWEVER, these things are negligible in light of all the wonderfully positive aspects of this facility. [Great military discount, too!]

  This is the second time we've stayed at Ayers Suites West Corona. Both stays have been in very roomy, clean, nicely decorated rooms. The hotel has the feel of a mountain ranch retreat that rivals most 4 star hotels we've stayed in. The buildings and grounds are attractive and very well maintained. The staff is freindly and accomodating. The very reasonable room rate includes a full hot breakfast in a nice dining room. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone needing a place to stay in the Corona CA area.
