  Bad experience. Room was dirty and smelled. The carpet appeared not to have been vacuumed in months and was full of sand. Even the blankets we extremelly dusty. We reserved a double bed but were given a single bed with a pullout couch that was so lumpy it was unusable. The advertized ammenities such as spa and gym were non-existence.

  Wish I could give this place a good review since we liked the location and character but the stay was a disappointment. From the start our reservation got confused. Then we were invited for a wine,cheese and crackers reception with no cheese and crackers. When I asked about a snack the manager just shrugged his shoulders. Our room was small, dirty and noisy. The walls were very dirty and the room smelled musty. Bedside table was too sticky to put anything on. Radio had a blown speaker.The truck noise from Hwy 101 made it impossible to open the window and drunks from the adjoining bar were yelling and fighting until 2 am. The AC was too noisy to sleep next to so it was a stuffy,noisy night. The full breakfast that others raved about was not to be found. No eggs or waffles or even juice. Just the usual plastic wrapped pastries,cereal and yogurt. Times must be hard. I can tell this place once had nice gardens but they are weedy and overgrown now. We were not told that we needed a parking permit on our car and could have been ticketed but luckily we weren't. A request for coffee cups took over an hour to get. I got coffee elsewhere. This place has potential but it's not being realized.

  We will be back to stay at teh Clcoktower Inn Hotel again for sure. It is a hidden treasure in this little town. Close to every thing you need to do. The rooms are clean, comfortable and unique. has a sharm we difinately recommend this Hotel.

  My wife and I travel the world, we found this Clocktower Inn Hotel to be the best so far in both Value and locations. The room is sharming has character not just a hotel room. Very clean. they serve a good buffet breakfast and they also serve wine and cheese reception by teh fireplavce in the lobby every night. The Hotel centraly located in DownTown Ventura away from teh freeway and railroad track. I suggest this Hotel to every one.

  I travel all over never seen or stayed in a Hotel that clean and personal. Staff are Great accommodating. Very clean rooms with caracter not like typical Hotel Rooms. make sure to ask for fireplace room, Located in the heart of DownTown Ventura close to the beach and all attraction. I will definately recomend it and will be back.
