  Clean, friendly staff, full service rooms. i would stay there agian with out a second thought. close to main roads and freeways. food and coffee shops near by.

  We stayed here for two nights and although we liked all the other hotels we chose, we both especially liked this one. As the other reviewer said, the presence outside is very welcoming and nice looking. It is a large hotel, but there is "just" a small front desk on your right when you immediately walk in, so it seems very intimate and you pass by the same people working there when you go and come from sightseeing or whatever. Both employees we saw while there were very nice, personable and professional. The room was surprisingly spacious and welcoming. I loved having not only a fridge, but a full size one! Even though we didnt use it much for anything, the presence like a kitchen was great...along with the kitchen sink & small coffeepot. There were even some provided dishes and utensils. The comp wifi worked great which was helpful in planning out the rest of the trip. The bed was great. If you are going to be seeing the Winchester Mystery House while here, it is only about 15 min. surface streets away. There is no great restaurant option, but we still loved it and see my tip for something else =)

  The 'curb presense was beautiful. Staff friendly, courteous, and went above and beyond what was expected. The desk clerk assisted me with my luggage to my room, when she could have easily called someone in housekeeping or not bothered at all, I have had both happen to me on several occasions). I had a very stressful day and drive so to come in and find CHOCOLATE at my besofe was just what the doctor ordered. The room/suite was spotless. Attention to every detail. The bathroom/shower/tub SPOTLESS. The Feather Bed was to die for, I didn't want to get up. I attended a birthday party with arount 50 people/women and gushed over the cleanliness and the decor and how surprised that this hotel was only receiving a 3 star rating. The Friday, Saturday rate is great too. I am gong back to the bay area next week and have booked 4 nights there and do not mind at all paying a higher rate because of the quality and making you feel so welcome and at. Some times the desk clerks can make you feel you are bothering them......
