  The Travelodge is as expected, clean and the usual amenities. It is conveniently located across the street from a large strip mall/shopping area and near many eateries. Though the inner areas are fenced, the side gate has no lock.

  I've stayed here a few times before the upgrades. now they have newer beds, plasma tv, and decent sized rooms. you may have to ask for the nicer room ...

  I've stayed here a few times before the upgrades. Now they have newer beds, plasma tv, and decent sized rooms. You may have to ask for the nicer room because last time I stayed it was a standard room with old tv and older bed. Total visits are near 8 in last year. ""Nicer hotels in the area lack upgraded beds and tv's that this place has.

  The walls were thin and the next door neighbors were very loud. although i am a deep sleeper i woke up 4 times throughout the night due to loud noises. ...

  The walls were thin and the next door neighbors were very loud. Although I am a deep sleeper I woke up 4 times throughout the night due to loud noises. People were sitting on the stairs, smoking cigarettes and blocking the access to the stairs also(no elevator), although they did move when asked. I would not stay there again and feel that my money should be refunded to me.

  Front desk was very friendly. we had reserved the jacuzzi suite and wow....!! beautiful room with huge plasmas, and the bathroom was really nice with corner jacuzzi can have upto ...

  Front desk was very friendly. We had reserved the jacuzzi suite and wow....!! beautiful room with huge plasmas, and the bathroom was really nice with corner jacuzzi can have upto 5 people. We also enjoyed the heated pool, relaxed with my friends, who were busy browsing on the wireless internet. We requested extra towels and they were brought to us. Great service i would say. In the morning had breakfast which was more than i expected, had fresh waffles and fresh muffins. We went to pismo for shopping and came back and relaxed in the jacuzzi in our room. They was outdoor jacuzzi as well. I would recommend this place to anyone its more than a travelodge. Great place keep up the good work guys....!!!

• Are You Kidding Me? WATCH OUT !!

  I checked the reviews for several hotels in this area. Because of so many positive reviews, I chose this place. Boy was I hornswaggled. It must have been the owners or staff that wrote those reviews, because they are totally untrue. I've stayed at Motel 6's for $29.99 that were far better than here. One light fixture on the wall was literally hanging by one screw, which was just one turn from falling out of the wall.... that light didn't work. The other wall fixture between the beds... was half cock-eyed and only one side worked. The overhead light/fan had the energy efficient bulbs (I'm totally FOR conservation), but this was so bright that you could have performed surgery in the room. On 3 different walls, they had apparently repaired wholes in the wall with new sheetrock ...but didn't bother painting it. The shower head had aluminum foil stuffed around where the pipe came out of the wall. I could not get the bathroom window to lock (and it faced the parking lot). I finally had enough and asked for a different room.... which turned out to be not much better. The new room wasn't "cleaned" yet, and we had to leave for a family function so the manager assured me he would have all our bags moved to the new room. When we returned at 11:30 that night, and got our new room key from the front desk, we discovered our stuff had NOT been moved to our new room, and we couldn't find them. After 10 minutes of searching, they did finally locate them, and by then I was totally fed up with this dingey, tacky little place. I'm still waiting for a $75 refund charged to my VISA for "incidentals" that I did not use nor authorize.
