  It was barely just OK. The trains were a short walk away. The lobby area and breakfast was nice. I am not sure if they are planning on completing some updating, but the wallpaper was peeling, ceiling paint was down to the walls and the floor boards missing in the 4th floor and in our room. Everything was clean, but ants did appear if you left some sugar about. Next time I will pay more and upgrade. All the staff was very nice.

  My daughter and I recently stayed at this hotel and enjoyed our stay very much. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The staff was very accomodating, and even allowed us to store our bags there after we checked out so we would'nt have to carry them with us into the city. Decent places to eat within walking distance, and the BART/Caltrain/Metro station was just a couple blocks from the hotel...very nice! The complimentary breakfast is a nice bonus too! Taking my daughter back to the Bay Area this Fall for college and will stay here again.

  The room arrangement was unique with the bedroom on one end, bathroom in the middle and sittling room on the other end with a TV in each room. It was a clean and cozy room with a very comfortable bed. Internet access was easy and was fast. The check in clerk was rather curt at first insisting that I give her * cash for any possible damages. When I refused, saying I had already paid for the room online and there was nothing in the agreement stating this was necessary, she backed down saying she had pulled up the wrong name on the computer. We were disappointed the jacuzzi was out of order. There was evidence remodeling was in the process, but it did not hinder us in any way. The cooked to order breakfast was absolutely excellent. We will return to this hotel!

  I really see some potential in this hotel, once the remodeling is done. The carpets are a little worn. Service was really good. One of the few places where you will find free WiFi. The bad thing is the internet kept on failing. It seemed they were having server issues. But they where really patient when trying to fix the problem. The free breakfast was a nice feature if you like eggs. You can order your eggs as you like with a couple of options. (again this is included in the price) It is a very good choice for the money, as you might know San Francisco is really expensive. This hotel doesn't have a bar. I will recommend this one because its not expensive and I am sure it will be way nicer when it gets remodeled.

  We got in late due to a delay in our flight. We called to get picked up at the airport and waited a good hour. They didn't even come to pick us up and gave us an excuse that it was late and there pick up service stopped running just a couple minutes ago even though we called an hour ago and waited. They told us they must have missed us when they drove by to pick up guess staying at the hotel. The receptionist told us to take a cab and they would reimburse us for the cab ride. We finally checked in and they gave us a room on the 1st floor with ants crawling everywhere in the bathroom floor and shower. It was so gross. We called to get another room but they said they were all booked up till tomorrow morning. We asked for someone to come kill the ants for us but instead they gave us window cleaner to kill the ants ourselves. We called the front desk for raid or some sorta ant killing spray but they had none. The window cleaner didn't even kill the ants. We got to our new room the next morning and while we were walking down our hallway it smelled like bad body odor. The room we got was spacious and had a mini kitchen which was the only good thing, but other than that i wouldn't recommend staying here ever. They serve complimentary breakfast at the hotel but there isn't very much of a selection and it is not all that great either. I wouldn't come back to this place to stay and hat a waste of money to pay to stay. Wouldn't recommend you stay here either unless you like ants and the body odor smell.
