  I was just calling to make reservations and mentioned an ad from AAA to get a discount when the receptionist said they dont accept coupons and hung up. I called her back and asked her why she hung up, she said because they dont accept coupons. I told her she could have just told me that and not hang up because I wanted to know the regular rates anyway. I agree with all the bad reviews, I didn't even stay there and I thought the service was horrible.

  Hotel staff was very, very accomodating, friendly and helpful. facilities were as advertised and a great value for the price. thank you.

  We were on a short family vacation and wanted to stay in San Franscisco. We were on a tight budget and I thought everything would be very expensive. However, this hotel had some good reviews and the price was certainly right. It lived up to the expectations and more. The front desk/owner was extremely helpful with directions and suggestions. We were near the cable cars and within walking distance of Fishermen's Wharf and Chinatown (granted, you do get your exercise!). There were plenty of items for the continental breakfast, but since there wasn't a dining area, it was more of a ""to go"" back to the room. The free parking was in a secure location. The rooms were nice and very clean.

  My husband and I were visiting for our anniversary. The hotel is plain, nice room size but ordinary. There was plenty of parking (& free for guests), but you don't need a car. Hotel is close to bus routes & only a 15 minute walk to the Wharf (but uphill on the way back). The best part, though, was the front dest manager. She was friendly and SO helpful. She knew the bus routes & gave great advice about where to go & where not to go in San Francisco. She also knew about all the activities going on during our stay.

  Spend your money on the time you spend awake. This hotel is not a resort hotel, but it had everything we needed, big bed, clean room and a great and freindly staff that help you get around the city and had great recomendations for sites and dinning. We were totalily satisfied and happy to have stayed at this hotel. For the price of the room, and the friendly staff , this is a great place to stay.
