  I've stayed at El Patio many times on business, and I will likely continue to do so. The rooms aren't fancy - in fact, they're pretty basic - but the staff is consistently helpful and polite, and you can't beat the location. They're also pet-friendly, which is huge for a person like me who seldom travels without the dog. Recommended.

• ONE BAD VACATION

  To start of, the lady at the service desk was pretty rude. we had stayed there before, but it was never this bad. there was only three towel's in ...

  To start of, the lady at the service desk was pretty rude. We had stayed there before, but it was never this bad. There was only three towel's in the bathroom , so when my wife took a shower she used them all. So I went to ask for some more and the lady said if I wanted more, to pay her $15.00 if I wanted them. She said they only give three towels per room which I thought it was pretty messed up So there we were laying the towel's outside in the sun so they would dry and we could use them, in the morning I asked for some coffee and she said they had ran out , and I was actually able to hear the pot brewing and could smell the coffee. Like I said we were very dissapointed, we traveled 3.5 hrs. and payed a lot of money for three towels and no coffee. Bottom line just simply bad service, and believe me it will be the last time we stay there. It is the (""el patio"") in studio city be the way.

  The hotel is older but completely remodeled, rooms are very clean and staff was attentive to our needs, price was great considering that there was not a lot of options in the area for the same price. We were visiting family and little bit of sightseeing. They had tours available at front desk at reasonable prices.
  Overall we were happy with our stay and we will recommend to friends and family.

  For the price this hotel was great. the location is excellent. it is walking distance to universal studios, minutes from hollywood, and 15 minutes from down town la. the front ...

  For the price this hotel was great. The location is excellent. It is walking distance to Universal Studios, minutes from Hollywood, and 15 minutes from down town LA. The front desk staff were very freindly.
