  The lobby and hallways are clean and nicely decorated. The rooms are another story. The first night we got in very late and when we got in bed we noticed the sheets did not feel clean/crisp, nor did the blanket. I started itching within fifteen minutes. All I could think was that I wanted to go to the nearest Walmart and get new sheets and blankets. We asked to cancel our reservation but were told we would have to pay the full four nights stay we had reserved. Since we could not afford it we stayed another night. When we arrived back in our room for the second night we found the towels we had used that morning hung back up, not new ones. How did we know? My husband had a bloody nose the night before and the same towel was back on the rack! Again we wanted to check out but were told we would have to pay the full price. The final night of our stay found us in a room with wet towels from the morning-again. We went to the desk to get fresh towels. Later in the evening the toilet clogged and overflowed. My husband called the front desk for a plunger but was told they did not have one. No one came up to help. We spent the night without a toilet. The next morning we checked out! When the front desk clerk asked why we were not staying the final night my husband listed all the things we had dealt with. We will never stay there again!! Sad, it is close to our two sons apartments but I will drive the difference next time for a clean hotel.

• Too cheap on the towels...

  We arrived, checked in, got to our room, and noticed there were no towels. Had to go back down to the front desk to get more. We had to tell them EXACTLY how many (of each type) we wanted. Next day, got back to the room after a full day - there were NO TOWELS again. Had to go back down to get more EACH DAY that we were there. I heard them tell another guest that they were low on towels. I would like the hotel to consider two actions: 1) buy more towels!! and 2) at least put 2 towels of each type in each room every day. Not trying to belabor the point, but we had 3 worn out kids - we didn't want to beg for towels to dry them off with! But, breakfast was quite good - lots of selection.

  We stopped in at your hotel on our trip back from Tahoe an were presently surprised. Very clean and spacious rooms. Your staff was also very curtious, even helped me with my luggage. Would recommend to a friend.
