  I always thought that the Travelodge name meant quality and hospitality. This Travelodge was horrible. Dirty, in bad repair, smelly. The continental breakfast was a joke. Regular coffee, no de-cafe, packaged mini donuts that were stale, and cereal. I could go on and on about how horrible this place was, but all I can say is "DO NOT STAY HERE!"

  Where do I start. The place smelled. The bed linens were torn and stained. The carpet looks like it was never cleaned. The fan in the bathroom was clogged with dust, the bathroom counter was filthy. The walls in the bathroom look like they have never been wiped down. The door leading to the balcony was not sealed, letting cold air breeze right on through at night. The internet connection was static most of the time. The garage was dirty and dusty. The "spa" was a joke!Never, EVER will we stay at this place! STAY AWAY!

  The underground garage has a dirt floor. The door to come up from the garage doesn't open without a major shoulder shove. There was a big hole around the fire sprinklers in the ceiling and around the shower head in the bathroom. The batteries in the TV remote were dead. The hard beds felt like sleeping on the floor. The toilet seat was almost broken off. There was mold in the staircases coming up from the garage. Stuff was stacked in front of the fire exit. There was a dirty washcloth on the shower rod when we came in. There was a nasty, crusty stain on the comforter (make your own guess as to what it might have been). We paid for 2 nights, but left after the first. They wouldn't refund the money for the second night. But hey, at least the free coffee in the room tasted like dirty water!

  First the good. The sheets were clean. The shower and toilet clean and working. The hot water lasted through my lengthy shower. The cable TV worked. The bed was reasonably comfortable. Beyond that it is a pathetic, dilapidated, nasty little hotel of the Tijuana variety. The really sad part is that on my 5-state trip this was the most expensive hotel I stayed in.

  It is the worst hotel there has ever been! The second I walked into the room the smell almost made me vomit! I left immedietly (I refuse to stay in a dump) and wasn't allowed to get proof of checkout until I had the authorities involved!!!
