  • Huge Disappointment -- Overpriced, Dirty and Shabby

I don't see how anyone has given this hotel a good review. With a rate of over $* per night, so I expected that it would be at least as good as the average Hampton Inn. I was sadly mistaken. The rooms are TINY, and apparently they do not clean the rooms often because the carpet REEKED of urine. The towels are like burlap, the toiletries are bottom-of-the-line, and the only cover on the bed is a COMBINATION bedspread/blanket. I usually toss hotel bedspreads on the floor immediately, because I'm aware of how filthy they are, but here there is nothing else available. The pillows are tiny, smaller than the usual standard size, even though I had a king-size bed. The desk chair was so low, even at the highest setting, the seat was about a foot off of the ground, meaning that it could not be used with the desk. The Internet access is dial-up only, and works only sporadically. While the staff is quite polite, they are clueless about hotel management. Although I had reserved my room with a credit card, and specified that I needed a quiet room, I was put on the ground floor next to the parking lot, near an outside door that slammed constantly, even after midnight. There were cars parked within 40 feet of our window, meaning that we were hearing car engines and car doors slamming as well. I have stayed in hundreds of Hilton-owned properties, and this was by far the most disappointing experience that I have ever had with them. Do yourself a favor and avoid this hotel at all costs.

We stayed over Thanks Giving & the room was very nice. The fact that this facility is "" dog friendly"" was perfect for us. But the enjoyment we had meeting so many nice people with or without dogs was great.Wine & cheese in the PM & breakfast in the AM who could do better!

I stay at the Hampton every time I travel between Northern California and Southern California, which is a few times a year. I have never had a problem-they staff is most helpful! Once we had a small one [loud neighbors], the staff handled it right away. The Wine and Cheese from 5-7pm is a wonderful way to unwind after a long drive. The resturants are not far from the hotel when it is time to eat dinner. Their breakfast served in the morning is very well presented. If you don''t have time to grab a bite in the dinning area,-then you can usually find a "to go" bag at the front desk. Pets are allowed.

  • Good value for money

Very reasonable place to stay if you are out and about all day. Good location, easy to navigate the town and front desk has execellent recommendations for dining. We wanted Mexican at a restaurant where our toddler would fit in. Free breakfast that was much better than average and a wine tasting in the evening featuring the local wineries-very nice. The pool could have been cleaner but we all had a good time.
