• Nice place, but where to park?

  Charming hotel; friendly staff; clean well-appointed rooms. but there is no parking, other than limited meters on the street, and expensive, inconvenient parking lots.

  Spending 200 nights a year on the road for 7 yrs has, caused me to be choosy about where I stay. I thouroughly enjoy the atmosphere, and professional hospitality of the staff of this beautiful property. I have stayed here on several occasions now, because, it feels like home, and they always make me feel like family. The clean, and pleasant location, will keep me coming back to the Sterling, when ever I am in the area, and the food there is 5 star !!

  I really loved the hotel in general, thought for the age (old) it was pretty ok. well, if you have ever been to sacramento a person needs a/c. ours ...

  i really loved the hotel in general, thought for the age (OLD) it was pretty ok. well, if you have ever been to sacramento a person needs A/C. ours was not working. we got a fan, cant open windows either, so felt very stuffy. otherwise A - OK.
