  Stayed at this rather large inn [it used to be a vineyard] after almost 9 years. It has remained the same, in a good way. Not shabby and quite welcoming and glamorous. Pleasant, comepetant staff. The rooms appear to differ. Some things were better in our last visit's room-long hall to bathroom with coffee maker on counter and better view. But this time we had a lovely, large spa tub in a huge bathroom. Breakfast is included -a good buffet with scrambled eggs, pastries, sausage would prefer bacon], very good coffee. It was quite cold in Dec.-preferred weather of Sept. Free afternoon tea with wine and cheese Fridays.
  Very convinient to great restaurants-Etoile ? at Domaine Chandon, Buchon, Redd, Bistro Jeanty and French Laundry. Very good concierge got us into the latter at short notice. But that is another story!

  We justlove this place. We always take friends when we stay here, and the last time they tore the bed apart to see what the brand was. It is the best night sleep I have had in a very long time. It is located walking distance from the French Laundry, and the walk home is beautiful. The staff is nice, and the food is fine. Napa has some of the best restaurants in the world, so we dont stay here for the food. The location and serenity cannot be beat!

  The service at the Vintage Inn is simply spectacular! We were upgraded to a mini-suite when they discovered it was our anniversary. EVERYONE from the concierge to room service to housekeeping was extremely helpful! The buffet breakfast is simply superb as well as the afternoon tea. Rooms are VERY quiet - could not even tell anyone else was staying there. The Vintage Inn is a dream come true if you are visiting the wine country.
