  Surprising nice hotel in the residental area. it was easy to find and just off the freeway. rooms were lovely and clean. i will visit family more often.

  We actually live in the area. So did a lot of the families we met there-they had the same idea. We stayed overnight, checked in early and spent the day swimming in their indoor pool/hot hot hot tub and watching movies in the room. With noon checkout, we had plenty of time to swim the next morning also. The pool room is warm. There is a shower downstairs so everyone can wash up before going back to the room. This was a cheaper day than going to a theme park, especially on rainy days or during the winter. It was nice to relax in the room and let the kids swim all day. The hotel was very accomodating to kids. The food from the restaurant leaves a little to be desired and reminds me of government school food. I suggest you bring your own or visit the nearby restaurants which are nice, cheap and in a good neighborhood literally just around the corner in San Lorenzo. Decor is pleasant, actual gas fireplace in the lobby. Staff is very nice and seems to like kids-answered all of their never ending questions about elevators, electronic card locks and the snack shack. LOCAL VACATIONS are really the way to go and this place is an excellent, clean and well furnished place to do it. Rooms have mini fridge and microwave. REALLLY nice place to stay.

  Hotel staff was very helpful and friendly, business center allowed access to computer and printer which was convenient to check e-mail and do on-line check-in for my airline. I stayed in a King room which was very spacious and included a small fridge, microwave, coffee maker. This location would be suitable for a business traveler as there was a large desk with electronic plug-ins. Free shuttle from Oakland Airport was also very convenient. I would definitely stay here again.

  I moved from another hotel close to 880 freeway to this one. the difference was amazing - very quiet. i did have some problems with room internet, but used lobby wireless ...

  I moved from another hotel close to 880 freeway to this one. The difference was amazing - very quiet. I did have some problems with room internet, but used lobby wireless and business center. Reported problem - should be fixed now.
