  My husband and I decided to stay here for our first wedding anniversary. We opted for a ""Studio Suite"" room that came with a ""gas fireplace and whirlpool hot tub."" The fireplace was nice, but operated on a timer that ticks louder than a car without oil. Very distracting and not relaxing at all. The ""whirlpool hot tub"" was a bathtub (slightly larger than normal size) with jets! We didn't even bother using it. The TV is small, old, has a terrible picture (they should have flat screens in a room that costs $** per night!) and you can't see it from the bed. Bathroom rugs and furnishings are cheap as can be and the rugs won't even stay put on the floor. Horrible layout in this room. Ridiculous prices. Many nicer hotels in town to stay at for less than half the price. Even though the casino is open until 2 or 5am, depending on the night, it seems that you cannot get food or drinks past midnight unless the place is absolutely packed. They have no buffet. Very disappointed and we will not be back.

  This place is wonderful! The room and bath area were very clean, comfortable beds and the fireplace was great although the lighting in the sink/mirror area could be a better. The close proximity to the ocean was fantastic, and ocean view from our room was outstanding! We even saw deer just outside our window each night. Our kids loved the pool and the snack area (the food was good for snack bar food and the prices were reasonable). The next time we visit Ocean Shores we will definitely stay here again!

  We celebrated our anniversary here and had a great experience. The room was clean, the fireplace was in working order, creating a romantic ambience. My favorite part was enjoying a relaxing gourmet meal from the ocean side view in our room as the sun was setting. The food is outstanding--steak and pork chops were grilled to perfection, flavorful and unique. The sunsets there, of course, are fantastic. We had a fun time at the slots in the casino too. You can't beat the location...right on the beach! The staff was friendly and helpful with questions we had. We would recommend this resort for anyone who desires a romantic getaway.

  We planned our trip around the beach and decided upon this property because of the fireplace in the room, location and casino. What a disappointment!! The fireplace didn't work and the room layout is ridiculous. It isn't easy to see either the fireplace or TV. The casino is very unfriendly and the explanation of their policies is nonexistent. A busload of elderly people came in and I saw no consideration of them re the time they had to wait to have money put on their cards...this was totally new to us. Usually you don't have to pay first when you go to a casino!!! Very disappointing!!!

  Thius was the third visit, the other two were good. This time check in was late and then found out the fireplaces were not working to due servicing (should have let us know) beds were supposed to have been queen but were not ( I can tell the difference) . Too much smoke smell. And it would be nice if you could add some features for children. A little disappointed because other two times were great.
