  We decided to stay outside of the city as my husband wanted to play a lot of golf. Sycuan Resort is a pretty place, with 3 golf courses and my husband liked all of them. The room we stayed in had been just remodeled and it was one of the prettiest resort bedrooms and bathrooms we've ever stayed in. Good breakfasts. (We were elsewhere for lunches and dinners). Nice staff, no problems with anything. If I were returning to San Diego, I would consider staying here again and would recommend it to friends traveling to the area.

  I am a golfer and stay here 3 or 4 times a year. Sycuan offers the biggest bang for golf resort buck. First, the staff (both hotel and golf) is great. Pleasant and helpful. Second, the rooms are not first class, but they are clean and roomy (bathroom area especially) and quiet. Just about every room has a view of the golf course with patio or balcony. Third, and most importantly, the golf courses are excellent for the price range (Willow Glen and Oak Glen are above average public courses (well maintained, good golf layouts, good pace of play, and very affordable prices. Pine Glen is a very good 3-par 18 hole course). It is hot here in the Summer, but lots of trees afford good shade and the pools are well located and accessible. The restuarant at the hotel is very good and reasonably priced. Sycuan Resort compares favorably to Temecula Creek Inn and Pala Mesa Resort, but in my opinion is a better place to stay and play golf. If you don't need (or can't afford) the trappings of Aviara, La Costa, etc., this is the place for you.

  Excellent room, great beds, clean, friendly staff. Left a bad impression because charges $ day for internet access, $. for local calls, even more if the phone rings for more than 5 rings before being answered. $ for bottled water, etc. Free newspaper.

  When my husband and I visit my son and his wife and five children, we always stay here. The rooms are large and spacious with a separate dressing room and shower and toilet. They have a fridge that gave us a little trouble, but they tried to exchange it with another one. The casino is right up the road and taking the shuttle makes it easy. Rooms very clean and most of all quiet. Room service is difficult to get, needs work. But otherwise the scenery is beautiful.

  When my husband and I visit my son and his family, we always stay here the rooms are very spacious with separate dressing rooms and bath. We had a little trouble with our fridge and they exchanged it out for another one. They had a shuttle to take us to the casino which was very convienent. Beautiful scenery. very clean and quiet. don't golf. But looks wonderful. Room service needs work.
