  Others have reviewed this place as the best place to stay in Sonora. Maybe, maybe not. Fair to Good Value in my opinion. The cheaper rooms are in the GOLD RUSH BUILDING and the rooms are very, very small. I had a smoking room (that I requested) that had a lot of smoke odor and didn't seem all that clean. Shower but no tub in bathroom. Free guest use pool & jacuzzi spa are very nice. Motel is on the main road through town. Very noisy if you stay facing the street. They have both smoking and nonsmoking rooms available. A 24 hour lobby desk is staffed with helpful with friendly people. The Gold Rush Building at the Motel has a game room with pay pin-ball machines and both pay washers and pay dryers for your dirty laundry. Laundry room operating hours are the same as the pool hours (8am to 10pm). Laundry soap and personal bathroom supplies (other than tissues, soaps, and shampoos which are free) are available at the lobby but are not complementary. There is also a nice and clean bathroom in the Game Room. I did not stay and eat the complementary breakfast so I cannot comment on that. There are many excellent and inexpensive resturants walking distance nearby. No room food service at the Motel but they close at 10pm. Free ice and soda vending pay machines on site. A 24 hour gas station with food mart is across the street from the Motel. Average to good two star Motel in my opinion. Convenient Motel location. I would stay there again.

  The inn was great; not too many extras, but you get a clean quiet room, very nice staff, a clean pool and walking distance to town. All this comes a very affordable price. I would definitely stay there again.
