  This hotel was such a find. Our room was quite large, with 2 queen super-comfy beds. Great location - within walking distance to everything you'd need in town. Only complaint (and this is minor) is that the showers don't get really hot. Would stay here again. Tip: A great way to see is island is via moped. We rented the scoot-cars from Susie's Mopeds in Friday Harbor & had an absolute blast driving them all around the island. Don't miss Mona the kissing camel and the lavender farm.

  We had a great stay at Elements Hotel and Spa this past weekend. Don't believe any of the bad reviews out there! The hotel staff was very friendly and professional, the location is within walking distance to tons of great shopping and restaurants, and the massage we received at spa was heavenly! The shuttle even picked us up at the marina once our plane landed. Would have been nice if there was a continental breakfast offered but we found plenty of coffee shops close by that opened early. Great value for the money, especially since you will be enjoying the town during the day and only sleeping in the room at night.The hotel has been completely redone inside (new linens, wall color, bathroom vanity, shower head, carpet...etc). I was glad there was a large fan in the room because it was warm outside and there is no air conditioning provided in the rooms. The outside of the building is the only part of the hotel that hasn't been rennovated but the proximity to how close you are to downtown is well worth it. The best part of our trip by far-- our couples deep tissue massage at their spa!!!! *Highly recommended!!!!* Didn't try the pool or free beach bicycle rentals. As for if we would stay at Elements Hotel again... probably just because of the value.The room was luxurious (private balcony with a view, fireplace, hot tub in the middle of the room, free breakfast, very fancy & romantic!!) Although it was more expensive (* night for the cheapest room) I felt it was absolutely worth the extra $$. Dinner recommendations: Backdoor Kitchen (my favorite dining experience of the trip).

  The hotel was exceptional. The staff was fun and accommodating. There was a very comfortable feel to the place and the newly decorated rooms were great - creatively decorated and the beds were luscious. There were many families there as well and they too seemed pleased. Loved it.
