  Great location near the Metro and an easy walk to the Coliseum. Make sure you ask for a room away from the street. We suffered through the noise the first night and asked to be moved. The difference was remarkable - from unbelievably noisy to very quiet! The staff was very friendly. The food was fair but I'm comparing it to the food at some good restaurants within walking distance. Seemed to be a very safe neighborhood. My first trip to Rome and my wife's second. Can't wait to go back.

  I found this hotel to be clean and comfortable, perfect if you are out seeing Rome all day and just want somewhere to come back and sleep. The rooms were simple, average in size and what I would expect from a 3 star hotel. I also felt safe which was important as a female travelling alone.
  
  It took about 10 minutes to walk from the hotel to the Colosseum, 1 hour to walk to the Vatican and most other sites were easily accessible by foot. The front desk helped me to organise a day trip to Naples and Pompei.
  
  My only negative experience was when needing to book a cab to the airport for 5am. The front desk staff said they could organise a nice cab for me for * Euro. I couldnt believe that it would be that much and said that i did not want a nice cab just a normal taxi service. The satff advised that it was more expensive given it was so early in the morning. When I was picked up, the hotel had actually booked a private vecihle transfer for me in a Mercedes. It only took 15 minutes to get to the airport so * Euro was expensive.

  Bad food, mold in bathrooms, no exhaust fan in bathrooms. rooms very stuffy, everybody came home with respiratory problems. very bad attitides in restaurant.
