It rises from the ruins of antique Falerii, the political and cultural centre of the Falisci people. Faithful allies of the Etruscan Poleis, in the III century BC, Falerii was attacked and conquered by the Romans that obliged the inhabitants to leave and to build Falerii Novi. After almost 1500 years the Falisci people repossessed the ancient city, leaving us the pleasure of admiring the archaeological site of Falerii Novi, visible only in part. The groups of buildings, which make up the Hotel, encircle a charming internal courtyard a characteristic piazzetta visible from the restaurant and nearly all of the bedrooms.
