    This was our family's first vacation in Fl. I went thru Travel online, my first time; and when searching for a place this Resort just kept coming up so I took my chance and rented a Ocean Front room. I wanted to go all out for this vacation. The Balcony view was wonderful! Sun sets and sunrises was what I dreamed of. I was not disappointed.Our room was clean, neat and roomy. They kitchen had a full size fridge(which I was told was small) and there was plenty of room for clothes.We never heard any neighbors thru the walls or halls. I had one front desk attendant that I dealt with that was just wonderful.When I wanted to see what other rooms they had to offered for future visits, she showed them to me. When we needed some advise on where to go to eat or how to get there we were always helped. We plan on going back down in 2010 but not just for a week but two weeks. We fell in love with this place. My husband and I and our two teenage children had a Great time here and I would recommend it to anyone!!!!

    We had a wonderful vacation/stay at the Beachcomber from the very friendly welcome as i checked into the front desk to the conceirge, parking attendant, maid service, waiters & waitresses. Everyone was very attentive to every need!! The resort is so well located on a beautiful beach with lounges that you can enjoy poolside or oceanview!! Our room was very lovely and beautifully decorated with a great balcony overlooking the ocean and pool. Everything was spotless! The pool area was sunny and also offered shade. Stingers across the street has great breakfasts and their pizza was terrific. They also deliver poolside to the hotel. The hotel is so well located with great restaurants closeby and within the radius of a mile. I would recommend the place to all my friends and relatives and I personnally can not wait to visit again!! By the way, the beds were extremely comfortable!!

    After reading some of the reviews I thought I had made a HUGE mistake. Not so. The resort was absolutely lovely & the staff was so friendly. We stayed in one of the kitchenettes & the only bug problem was when I left some fudge on the counter over night. The ants came marching 200 x 200, but that was ok, I think they needed it more than I did. As for the person who commented on the musty smell , they need to give the place a break. After all, you are right on the ocean in muggy Florida, & I do mean right on the ocean. The smell really isn't that bad. There is a little pizza/bar/diner accross the street that serves a great breakfast. There is also a small grocery store, a gift shop & a liquor store in the same strip mall. We enjoyed our stay tremendously & would recommend to anyone . T Carolyn M Chicago, IL

    We were a little nervous about not knowing much about this hotel before we went on vacation, but it exceeded our expectations. We upgraded to an ocean front room and that was well worth the extra cost. The rooms were nice and had a little kitchenette, it was nice to have a refridgerator. The best part of the room was the balcony it was nice size and had comfortable lounge chairs. The hotel is on the beach and just feet away from the ocean. There is also a nice pool and bar outside too. Staff was nice and helpful. It was an over all great experience!!

    My husband and I stayed 3 nights at the Beachcomber and were very pleased. I agree with some of the other reviews about the musty smell. We upgraded our room and got a beautiful pool and beach view room with a king sized bed. Definitely worth the upgrade. The hotel was very clean and updated, and the hotel staff was superb. I loved the fact that it was on the beach, and we were able to sit in lounge chairs one step off of the beach. We enjoyed the beach setting without all of the sand! We will definitely stay there again.
