  It has now been 3 weeks since our stay. Took this long to get an answer to our $ that was missing from our room. Reported it to the Orange County Sheriff, which was put on their 'inactive' list, so nothing was done at that end either. I guess what I'm really upset about the confilcting 'stories' that were told to us. At check in,Friday we were told we would have cleaning service on the day that we checked out. Because of that, we never secured anything in the safe. When we came back from shopping &Sunday;, cleaning ladies were coming out of the room. That night, when packing for the flight home, we discovered the money missing. Went directly up to the desk, questioning when we would have cleaning, and she said it was scheduled for Monday. I then asked why they were in there today. She didn't know why. Security was called, filed a report with them and the sheriff, had to fly back to Michigan. Called a total of 5 times in the last 3 weeks to see what was going on and they pretty much said I was lying. Nothing was done to compensate us for the loss. First they said they had a new computer system and the clerk must not have known how to read the code. Then they tried to turn it around and say I was lieing and that the clerks I talked to did say we would have cleaning every day!! Very Very frustrating!! I don't lie!!

  The entire staff of the vistana are honor graduates of help school. in addition to on-site resort items, direction and advice on off site activities is first rate. watch ...

  The entire staff of the Vistana are honor graduates of help school. In addition to on-site resort items, direction and advice on off site activities is first rate. Watch out for the "time share" 90 minute promotion. It took more than 2 1/2 hours. We will definetly go back to the Vistana ressort.

  We arrived at the Vistana around 3:00 PM, check-in was quick and easy. They suggested a tour in the morning of their timeshares to get discounted tickets. We declined and that was all that was said about that. No annoying phone calls from them about it. The room was immaculate. We were within walking distance to 2 of the huge pools, the gym, the store and restaurant. The kids loved it. It is close to disney, universal and seaworld. We would definitely stay there again!

  We stayed at the Sheraton for 2 nights. For us it was a finish up to our Florida trip after visiting with family further south. We jsut kicked back at the Sheraton for 2 days and did not go to any attractions as we are coming back for 1 week next August. The room was inexpensive and very clean. The bed pretty comfortable. We had an older room, that was in real nice shape. We are pretty picky with where we stay and this was a good experience. We looked at the newer rooms and they are beautiful. They are in the process of remodeling the older buildings. The construction does not interfere with your stay. The pools are clean and large and numerous. We traveled with and 8 and 13 year old. They loved the place.There are a lot of activities for the young ones. There is a good amount for the grown ups to do also. Most of everything you need is on premise. If not, eateries and stores are very close by. As far as the time share thing. Yes they do try to get you to go to a meeting. We politely declined 2 times. I unplugged my phone overnight just in case they tried to call us early in the morning. The employees are numerous and very helpful. Anywhere you walk there is someone to offer assistance or just to say hello. What a great place. We rate it very high. We will give it thumbs up everywhere. Dont let the time share sales sway you away. Its part of business these days in resort areas. If you're smart you can use these meetings to save a lot of $$. We did it in Hawaii and got over $500 in savings on things .
