The hotel is a cluster of bad themes shoved into the same space. While I expect this on the strip, I at least would like my hotel to pick a theme or two and STICK with it. The door theme (and even a bar) from the Star Trek experience still remains even though it's been gone for over a year. But my main issue comes from the annoying and sometimes rude thing that they call guest services. When we found out that our two room suite was a suite with the rooms stacked we went back down to complain and one of their staff refused to listen to what we were telling him and insisted that we were wrong and then refused to even talk to us about it because WE were being difficult. Then we get to our room and find out that one pillow is feathered and one is foam. The spare one in the closet was feathered. We're both allergic to feathers..so we called down. It took 4 phone calls spaced out over the span of 2 hours for them to finally bring our pillow, causing us to delay our outing for the stupid thing.

  • Hilton Hotels are a Disappointment

This is the second time my wife and I stayed at a Hilton owned property and the second time we had a bad hotel experience. Our room was placed next to the elevator shaft which kept us awake at night. There was a strange odor in the room and mold growing on fixtures in the bathroom. The ventilation ducts were never cleaned as the dust was caked on the vent bars and filter screen. The shower pressure alternated hard and soft as well as hot and cold. Upon complaining (with pictures to prove our complaints), the hotel staff exhibited the typical Hilton mentality of “oh well, stuff happens”. For a 5 night stay, they wouldn’t even upgrade us to a “renovated” room (a comp of only $*/night). Seems odd to have to pay extra money to have a clean room… When we finally agreed to pay the extra money for a clean room, it wasn’t ready. 6 hours later, the room was still not ready as promised. Buffet tickets were Hilton’s only answer to the trouble they put us through. Later in the week, when we found ourselves arriving late to our room, the water throughout the hotel was shut down! No chance of a relaxing shower or even a drink of water in a city that never sleeps…

At the arrival we found a cockroach in our bathroom. After a call they changed our room to another one with $* upgrade(cheap management). The new room had Air Conditioner broken and instead of cold it was producing the heat. After couple calls, they sent a man who tried to fix it. After all "adventures", we complained to the management before check out. They offered $* future upgrade again.

Fast, pleasant check in. Had smoking room which did not reek of smoke and was actually pleasant. Had handicapped room with accessible bathroom. Shower had the chair and spray hose. Two drains in floor. Nothing to prevent water from shower to spread into other areas of the bathroom as the floor was flat and the area was all inclusive. Plenty of towels, soaps, etc. Wheelchair available for use in and out of the hotel per security. Plenty of ramps to get in and out. Food available in all forms at all times and prices. Gambling throughout first floor. Kids video game room. Staff pleasant and helpful. Monorail access. Tour bus picks up at hotel. Will visit again.

1st time to vegas, we arrived early, our room was ready. nice view of the city from the room. Beds were extremely comfortable 40 inch flat screen, room service, security and front desk all friendly. Great choices at the buffet and great prices. Best thing of all the Mono Rail is connected to the hotel. I suggest a 3 day pass, more for your money.
