Good value for $. Close to airport. Plenty of activities on site. Main tower rooms are luxurious, just a little fading around the edges, e.g. wallpaper tear, carpet worn at entrance. Same problem as many hotels with solid hallway doors clanging shut all night long. But overall would stay again.

  • Great place to stay-probably best in Vegas.

MGM--great location with tram stop. Close to a lot of spots on the strip. Room was spotless, friendly staff on the floors and at the front desk. We purchased tickets for all the shows we wanted at the desk. They first assigned us a room in the West Wing, we had them move us to the main tower, nice view of strip. I would not recommend the West Wing; seems removed from rest of hotel and too isolated. Buffet was far too expensive (as are all the buffets in Vegas). The food at the hotels is ridiculously priced. We went out to eat. A great Denny's just down the street from MGM, fantastic breakfast, good prices, wonderful, friendly staff, open 24/7. MGM has a fast food court with a Hagan das ice cream shop--very good. The Sahara also has a good, casual, moderately priced restaurant with the best breakfast we have had in Vegas. The MGM is first class, for sure, nice casino, nice rooms, very clean and well maintained. Probably our last visit to Vegas, have been there several times. It is getting too expensive and the town is pushing the "what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas" to the extreme. We would not recommend taking children, especially teenagers or pre-teens to Las Vegas--bad environment, bad advertising, bad "adult" behavior for youngsters. But, if you must go, the MGM should be a first choice. P & P from Michigan

when i arrived i was sent to west wing, i was shocked bcoz the room condition is so weak. And when the internet connection was down, the person on phone just told me to wait coz they might take 35minutes to 2 or three hours to fix it. Wow!! i was shocked again. MGM Grand is such a well known hotel, but why? There were no mini bar and fridge, no bath tub....no promotion on anything....wow!!! I was regret enough to pick MGM and reminded me how great it was when i chose PH...So, this is a no good experience...is time for MGM to upgrade to a standard that can match a 3 stars hotel please.
