  We stayed at this hotel the night before our cruise. The female front desk clerk(s) need to be given a lesson on providing correct directions. When I called from the airport for directions to the shuttle, the CSA gave us misinformation not once but twice. We finally gave up and took a taxi. I waited for almost 8 minutes to be recognized as needing check-in help, (while there were numberous employees standing around chatting but ignoring that I was even there. Then upon check-in, when I questioned what appeared to be a charge against my credit card for the room (which I had pre-paid) the CSR called the manager to the front desk, the manager then proceeded to sternly explain that I was wrong, that they never charge your room in advance. I was forced to get snippy with her explaining that I did indeed pay for the room and I had the receipt to prove it. The hotel room itself, was very nice. The bed, OK though I have had much more comfortable beds at both the Hampton Inn and the Marriot hotels. The room lacked even one piece of literature to explain the hotel, restaurant options, ammenities or the like. This was a first...as I have never been to a hotel wherein they had no guide book explaining options in or around the hotel. The management and staff at this hotel need to take a course in customer service......it was much better under the Amerisuites name and management.

  We stayed at the hotel before our cruise. The shuttle service was very prompt. All the personnel were very friendly and courteous. The room was very clean and comfortable. The complementary breakfast was adequate. We would definitley stay there again.

  well we stayed like 2 days before i went to the hospital and the room was great. i almost died when i saw the flat screen what i didnt like was that the tv channels not all kid it was only cartoon network and pbs that means in the night nothing to watch. but everything else great i didnt get to go in the pool because we had to go to the hospital which was like right around the corner. great location great room, the clerk at the front desk was very nice and patient. i really enjoyed my stay and would love to go back if the rates dont get to high.

  We stayed at this hotel the night before our cruise. We found the female front desk clerk totally rude. First, when we called from the airport for directions to the shuttle, twice she gave us misinformation and caused us extra time and walking distance. Second when we actually arrived she was handed the reservation number and advised that ""with a last name like yours, I wouldn't want to announce myself either"". The woman should be fired. Hyatt had a promotion on where if you stayed two nights in December you received another night free. After complaining about the staff, they deducted the free night promotion but gave me another free night with no expiration. Both the hotel management and Hyatt head office have been informed of this clerk. Hope she was fired. The hotel room, itself, was very nice. Extremely comfortable bed and well appointed. The room was not properly insulated from sound. You can hear everything that happens down the hall and outside the room. I would stay here again provided I didn't have to deal with this very rude clerk.
