Front desk and valet parking personnel were very friendly and helpful. Rooms are small but clean! Stayed for three nights and had no problems. In room safe is a plus to protect your valuables. Location was great, near the shore and downtown activities. I would most definitely stay again! Many dining oportunities nearby, including Chelsea's for breakfast or lunch (in hotel) and Irish pub next door. However, if you want to catch a bus or walk a couple of blocks, there are some nice restaurants on the water with excellent views, such as Steamworks brewing Company!

Rooms were very clean but smallish thoug comfortable, only slept in it so was not an issue. Front desk extremely friendly. Irish pub right next door is a must!!! Great atmosphere, service and food. Breakfast downstairs was good. Very clean area within short walking distance to waterfront area and a few blocks from cruise ship (Canada Place.) Wish I had booked Vancouver for a few days of touring before the cruise...very nice area to explore. Would stay at this location again and have no trouble suggesting this hotel to my friends.

I thought that it might be a dive, since it wasn't expensive in the heart of a city, but it was clean and comfortable. The room was small, but I didn't need anything large. The only minus, I suppose, was that it didn't have a refrig. even though it was supposed to have one, although the only thing I use refrigs. for are leftovers that I want to eat the next day.
The pluses are that the staff was nice and helpful and gave detailed directions for me since I used public transit.Try to get a room as high up as possible so as not to hear the people outside the pub at night.I was on the 7th floor(out of 8) and that was to my advantage. The restaurant downstairs cooked a good breakfast for me.The room was clean and updated. The bed was comfortable. The maids were nice. I'd stay there again.

Great location, but it is downtn...staff very accomodating. Near-by the shore front, close to Convention Cntr, Gastown, and Stanley Park. Take SeaBus to N. Vanc to Groose Mntn. Great rooms, but small...had room with 2 sep rooms, both had queens and sep TV's. Take the public trans, but had to pay 10-13 dollars for parking...in/out previlages. Had own laundry room at our level."
