  My wife and I stay there 3 nights in October of 2008. We felt like we were at a resort south of Bangkok instead of in the middle of this big city. The service was great and I will stay here again.

  Our family (We have 2 teenage daughters) stayed there for a short weekend this August (2007). We all loved the hotel. We took 2 rooms - one for the teens and one for us. The service was remarkable. Every person who worked there was pleasant and wanted to help. We had a few special situations and requests and they were great. The rooms are large and comfortable and the gardens and pool are beautiful. Everything is kept spotlessly clean. We would not have stayed there if we had not gotten a special rate on Travelocity. And the hotel is beautiful.the only con is that it is a little off the beaten path. It is in the center of Bangkok in the embassy area. It is more of a business hotel than a vacation hotel. So the location is probably good for business travelers but not ideal for vacationers like us. That said, the sky train is a short walk away and the sky train takes you almost everywhere. But it is not a walk I would want to take late at night. So you would cab at night. We ate dinner in the hotel both nights. I would be happy to tell anyone who has specific questions more about it. I would definitely stay there again. It is a beautiful and gracious hotel. One of the best if not the best I have ever stayed in.
