  For the travelers who stayed at this property before: You definitely have to go back! The hotel has been totally transformed. New decor, fur in the walls, crystal, velvet. The risotto at the restaurant is a must, and the breakfast buffet is one of the best I never had. Their new bar is one of the nicest I saw with the fireplaces and those private sections that your can close with a velvet curtain. Perfect romance. It's like a boutique hotel with extensive service. When we were there, the hotel was hosting a big reception in what they call "La Ruelle" with movie producers and actors. They had even "recreated" a room in the passage close to the lobby! The staff is amazing, the concierge service is 5 stars. Location is perfect to discover the old Montreal as well as the downtown area. As it is connected to a subway station (underneath the convention center) you can travel the whole city for less than *$! Definitely the most exciting hotel that Montreal can offer. ps: Take the valet parking If you come with your car: For only few dollars more, you won't have to bother with parking at the lower 9th level, and you will benefit of a 24hrs in-and-out privileges instead of paying everytime you leave.

  I stayed 8/2 to 8/9/09. Everything was new and sparkling. The bathroom was especially luxurious and spacious. This hotel compares favorably with the 4 Seasons and the Peninsulas. The staff was helpful. My family in particular liked the in-room dining. Overall extremely satisfied with our visit.

  My girlfriend and I travel to Montreal for Mother's Day. We stayed at this particular hotel...Very boring...ghost town after friday's...the food over priced...hotel under construction...doorman and reception not at all helpful...the concierge had the pink eye, while conducting business...only a GREAT PLACE FOR PEOPLE AGE 70.....OR OLDER.

  Great Hotel with clean and stylish rooms. Great location and access. View from my window was awful, but probably due to the package deal I purchased. Breakfast buffet included in my package and was a definite benefit and perk. Food was great and exercise facility good for a hotel. I would definitely stay again on my next trip."
