  We visited in August 2009 to enjoy the beautiful lush mountains and surrounding areas of Vail CO. The Hotel is not the fanciest nor the newest but we got a very good price and it was well worth it. The Evergreen is right in the perfect location between Lions gate and Vail village. The bus can drop you off by the library and youre a walk from the hotel so getting around is easy. We got free breakfast with our stay and it was fabulous! Good food and service. Free high speed internet , a good fhot forceful shower and very good maid service. The hotel has a Euro feel and is a bit old but I suspect if youre in Vail to Ski or hike, oin a budget this would be a great bargain because you can spend $$$$ in Vail. Vail CO rocks !

  This hotel was a FANTASTIC find for our family on a driving tour of CO. We stayed for one night and the stay was TERRIFIC starting with the very helpful desk person. She gave us great insight into family things to do and where to go. The mountain view was GREAT and the room was very comfortable, clean, and refreshing. The resort is right between the two main areas of Vail - the Village and Lionshead - well within a nice walk of both (and a shuttle is also available right outside the hotel). The outdoor pool was heated and wonderful and this was one of our kids FAVORITE hotels.

  Excellent experience. No complaints at all. Everything worked and was tidy. Room was large and mountain view terrific. Everything in room appeared updated. Location ideal. Staff very friendly and helpful. No hassles of any kind. Parking could not be more convenient.
