  We were somewhat disappointed in this hotel and probably wouldn't stay here again. The location wasn't particularly convenient to shopping or dining. The hotel was fairly close to the Tube. The front desk staff wasn't very friendly. The hotel was clean but very old.

  Safe and convenient location, since it is close to Victoria station/tube. Within walking distance to Big Ben, Trafalgar area, and Buckingham Palace (all about within 2 miles). The room is roomier than expected, but the exterior is rather dismal. I would recommend taking the public transportation (tube and train) and going to see Windsor Castle and the free museums. Highly recommend buying the ""London Pass"" since that covers a lot of touristy attractions and all day tube passes. Put on some seriously comfortable shoes, and do dress well since they are not your typical too casually dressed Americans.

  It was a last minute booking and we needed a room that sleeps a family of 5. With this hotel we got a pretty good deal pricewise comparing to other hotels in the area. The location of the hotel is perfect - just two minutes from BUCKINGHAM Palace. Room (family suite) was surprisingly big for London, and in general we were pretty happy with the room. The thing that we didn?t like about the hotel were smelly and outdated looking hallways which make you feel like you are staying in some cheap motel. If they could fix that, the place would feel much more appealing.

  We had a great time in London. Wonderful place for our honeymoon. Had a room on the 2nd floor looking out on the Royal Mews of Buckingham Palace. Great location 2 blocks from Victoria Station, theatre and restaraunts nearby. Friendly staff, but the best, the absolute King was the concierge who was helpful, knowledgable and friendly. Restaraunt only so-so, but save money and eat your breakfast at the Cafe Panini across the street. Eat dinner all over London....and go to the theater! Wonderful stuff!!!
