  We enjoyed three nights at this hotel. We chose to have the breakfast. The staff was friendly and the food was substantial--bacon, scrambled eggs, musesli, croissants, pain au chocolat, coffee, yogurt, fruit salad. We also enjoyed the Metropolitan bistro around the corner. We did not like Pizza Papa nearby. The location is convenient, near the metro/train station. The bed was not very good. The mattress was saggy even though it was foam. I liked the bathroom. Although it was small, it appeared to have been recently redone and it was clean and modern. The room was kept nicely for us each day. The reception desk staff were helpful and friendly.

  This is a great location-safe and convienent. Short walk to the Eiffel Tower and even shorter to Metro station. Don't miss the open market under the Dupliex and Grenelle metro tracks on Wed. and Sunday-great place to buy produce and gifts to take home. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms small but clean.

  My wife and I have been to Paris 9 times and this hotel is the best that we have stayed in. The room was clean, large and in a great location. The staff is the best, they are friendly, helpful and just great to talk to. I have never stayed at a hotel that the staff treated us like we were reugular visitors. Including the hugs when we left. If you have a negitive experience I would have to say it was more you than these great people. The breakfast is very good, but a little exspensive but if you want cheep there is a McDonalds a block away. Distance to Metro is fantastic.

  For those of you who not only want to experience Paris, but be a part of Paris. This hotel is unique and has a quality about it that really makes you feel like you are in Paris. LOCATION: It is located a stone's throw from the Dupleix Metro, which was extremely convenient. Just get a pass for the metro, and ride the metro, subway and buses all you want, all over town. Also, this hotel is in walking distance from the Eiffel Tower and the Seine, we walked there every night. There are a lot of cafes and restaurants right outside the doorstep, so you have plenty of options for for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Walking around the area is completely safe, we walked around in the middle of the night with no problems. The police visibility is high in this area, as it is a tourist area, so we felt safe everywhere we walked. SERVICE: The service at this hotel was wonderful! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, they arranged anything we needed (taxis, airport shuttle, printing of boarding passes etc) and were always helpful with information regarding sights, the metro, places to eat and so on. FACILITIES: Very nice. Small rooms, but who are we kidding, when you are in Paris you only need a place to sleep and park your suitcase. The rooms are very clean with comfortable beds. Price for WiiFii access was reasonable and if you need something to do at night, Wiifii is a good option as the TV isn't so great. Bottomline: This hotel helped enhance our Paris stay, and I will definitely book a room here again in the future.

  The hotel was hard to find via a paris city cab driver. basically, the hotel is some what un-marked. no signs really stand out as the hotel is on ...

  the hotel was hard to find via a paris city cab driver. basically, the hotel is some what un-marked. no signs really stand out as the hotel is on a very busy street. the hotel staff states that they speak english, but only front desk agents were really able to understand english. upon arriving on my first day, i asked for a few things to be brought to my room and during my whole stay, none of them arrived. upon the first day of our arrival, the customer service was ""not good"". no welcome, no smiles and this left us with the feeling that we weren't really welcome. early check-in isn't an option! not all rooms have tubs and the rooms are on very busy streets and exstremly small. so if your worried about ""noise"", i wouldn't suggest staying at this hotel because the street noise is loud from sun up to sun down. the breakfest served at this hotel ""charged a fee"" and the menu was the same from day to day. the information that was given to us about tours such as the louvre museum, was wrong. there is just one elevator and it holds about 2 people with luggage at a time. what this hotel has to offer is ""location, location, location"". its about a 15 min walk to the eiffel tower, 5 mintues to the metro, and 20 mins via cab to the euro train station. there are a host of resturants and shopping centers within mins walking.
