This is an excellent hotel, the attention to details in the room was just awesome. We had a room over looking the street and it was very quiet. The staff was very pleasant and the dining area for breakfast was good. They will prove a taxi service to the airport, if necessary for between *-* euro. Try to double up with someone..to reduce the cost...its about $* US. Exchange rate is terrible right now. One other thing.....the city tour bus, which is one of the best ways to see all the sights for 2days on and off privileges is just about 3 blocks away... Also a restaurant "Tima" they recommended was excellent...which was around the corner from the hotel.

I found the my room clean and large for a single occupant. My room was definitely larger than the two other couples I booked this trip with. Of course I paid more for a single occupant but it was truly worth it. My bathroom was spacious with a full tub/shower. I had very good air conditioning,so my room was always nice and cool. My trip was from August to September. I also had complimentary coffee, tea, cookies and candy favors. The others didn't. I lucked out and got a special suite. Make sure to specify "No smoking". I booked it as such but when I got there they asked me again...so somehow that got lost but all was good. Food at their restaurant is great. Panorama Market closeby. The shuttle was comfortable and reliable. You need to be prompt. I found the driver to be very nice , polite and professional. I found the reception staff to be a little aloof but all other staff such as the room service staff were quite friendly and helpful. The hotel is outside of the city of Rome but I didn't mind it. If I took a taxi to and from the hotel it typically cost * to ** Euros depending on how fast the driver drove. The hotel shuttles are free. And the cost from FCO airport to hotel was about ** Euros plus tip. Make sure to patronize the official white taxis. The other taxis will cost you ** Euros (usually dark cars) and their people are soliciting right when you leave baggage claim area. Avoid them. They take away the work from the legitimate taxi drivers. Remember ride the WHITE colored Taxis, with official emblem on the side of the car...you won't get gouged.

I really felt at home staying here. The staff was very accomadating and anticipated needs extremely well. My room was spacious with a refrigerator, large tub and bathroom, nice closet and well decorated. The location was not the best for downtown, but the hotel provides a shuttle on a preset schedule for drop-off and pick-up several times throughout the day. There is also a public bus stop close by. I found a grocery store about a block east of the hotel and McDonald's and a convenience store is down the hill from the hotel.

We were surprised by the shuttle service as it only operstes twice a day to the airport, and if you decide to take the last bus home, be prepared to fight with the driver for a seat. The shower were tiny, smaller than a cruise ships, and the water temperature fluctuates during the shower. The cleaning was not done completely.

  • Shuttle is the best part

The hotel worked for us. It provided a shuttle bus to the airport and two downtown locations. That was all we needed. The service was timely and several times a day. Just know that it will not pick you up from the airport at any time during the day. It goes in the morning and that is it, so we had to take a taxi from the airport. The restaurant was good, though a little pricey. There is a McDonalds down the hill for those who don't mind that. Our room was much smaller than any U.S. hotel, but I believe that is common in Italy. Also, the air conditioning was not turned on during the month we stayed there so the room was very warm at night. The staff was helpful and courteous. We didn't use room service but the prices seemed reasonable. We were satisfied with our stay.
