  Have traveled to Calgary six times this year on business. The first time I stayed at the Westin when a colleague of mine suggested I stay at the Hyatt Regency next time, so I did and have stayed there every trip since. The hotel is in a great location on the Stephen Avenue walk. Rooms are fantastic with very comfortable beds, large flat screen TVs and an in room safe that can even hold a laptop. I ate daily in Thomsons at the hot breakfast buffet, delicious! But, in all honesty it is the service that brings me back to the hotel as I am treated like family with a genuine welcome and smile everytime. On my last stay I was in a taxi enroute to the airport when I realized I left my wallet in the room. I had no time to turn around and called the hotel. The concierge found the wallet and somehow speed delivered to the airport so I would not miss my flight. Simply extraordinary to find service like that.

  I had never stayed in Calgary before. I knew a Hyatt for under $* per night was a steal, but what a steal. The room was clean and quiet, the restaurant in the hotel was good. The Stephens Avenue walk area adjacenjt to the hotel was a real summertime gem. The hotel is next to a several blocks long pedestrians only street, with lots of shops and restaurants. Very nice in the summer. It is also close to indoor shopping an +15s, for the winter. The hotel is also only 20 minutes from the airport, with only a bit of downtown driving to deal with after you get off the freeway.

  The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was recently remodeled and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was outstanding. The only parking is underground and rather expensive. We would recommend the Hyatt and would stay again.

  I was attending a meeting at the Hyatt Regency and I was surprised how beautiful the hotel was. The service was exceptional, everyone so helpful and the food in the Catch restaurant was amazing! Apparently they fly in fresh seafood daily from the coast. The workout room has all the latest equipment with a view of the city and mountains on a clear day. I could have worked out all day. The room was well laid out with large flat screen tv's, brand new beds, and convenient outlets on top of the desk and by my bedside table to plug in my computer and blackberry. It is perfect to not have to crawl under furniture looking for an outlet. This hotel is one of the best I have stayed in Canada and next time I am in Calgary, I will definitely stay at the Hyatt Regency.

  I was attending a meeting at the Hyatt Regency and I was surprised how beautiful the hotel was. The service was exceptional, everyone so helpful and the food in the Catch restaurant was amazing! Apparently they fly in fresh seafood daily from the coast. The workout room has all the latest equipment with a view of the city and mountains on a clear day. I could have worked out all day.
