  My wife and I arrived way before check-in and the staff got us into a room right away. The continental breakfast isn't meant to be a food eating contest and was just right for starting each morning, as we discussed our plans for the day and the myriad of restaurants to choose from. Our room was nicely decorated, the bed extremely comfortable, and the bathroom had plenty of HOT water. Also, want to add that housekeeping did a great job each day. We were on the second floor and never had any concerns with the music and/or street noise that other people mentioned. Oh, did I mention that the location was fantastic. We are already planning our next visit.

  Loved the hotel. Super clean. Good shower pressure. Roof top continental breakfast great way to start the day with beautiful view of city. 7 short blocks to convention center & Hilton Convenient to shopping and mall, lots of restaurants. We were on the 8th floor and could hear street noise but not too bad. Pack a PM aspirin if you are a light sleeper. Would definitely stay here again.

  This hotel has a primo location right in the heart of the gas lamp distric right around the corner from the Horton Plaza mall and not a bad walk to Sea Port Village. THe hotel is very clean and the room was nice and large with a sitting area and wet bar with granite counter top. Nice rooftop terrace with a complimentary continental breakfast too. THe service was friendly and it was a great value. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

  You can't beat this hotel for proximity to the gaslamp district. great restaurants and nightlife. very near the open-air mall. however, it's easy to hear the music ...

  You can't beat this hotel for proximity to the Gaslamp district. Great restaurants and nightlife. Very near the open-air mall. However, it's easy to hear the music from clubs, bars, and other live-music places until all hours of the night (on the weekend--actually, Thursday too!). And, if you turn the wrong way on the street, you go from nice restaurants to very seedy streets. The hotel was undergoing renovation when I was there (and I didn't know about it). Would be good to see what it's like afterwards. It's a little dated and slightly worn out. The lobby is very modest and looks cheap. But the rooms are very large and comfortable. Value for price paid was a good deal!

  Yes it is located in a popular and convienient place (to convention center, torory and main street) but it means there are many restaurants and bars making noise till late. Young people drunk may shout outside on the street! This hotel is relatively old so window cant shield at all. Continental morning food was a very simple so dont expect so much. It is just an addithional for your morning. People Serve so good and they clean up rooms well. There are many expensive hotels near here so it depends on to what we give the priority. So in total, it was just OK to me.
