  We stayed at the Medina Grand Harbourside during a 10 day visit to Sydney in July 2008 for the World Youth Day. We were very pleased with the apartment-style accommodations, which were very convenient considering we had two young children. Our room was furnished with a full kitchen and a spacious bathroom containing a washer and dryer. The hotel itself was conveniently located at Darling Harbour, which is a very attractive part of Sydney. There are many shops and restaurants nearby. The Sydney Aquarium is literally next door. The harbour ferries and the City Centre are easily within walking distance from the Medina. I would recommend this hotel to families with young children, who are more concerned with convenience than luxury.
