  Out of the week or so we spent in Buenos Aires, two days were spent at this hotel. It was okay, I would give it about a 3 star rating. However there are other hotels (similarly priced) in the area that are better (i.e. Hotel Emperador).
  
  The good things are that it was always clean, our room was gigantic, the staff was friendly (though not all speak English fluently, but most do), and it was located in the heart of everything. There area about a million restuarants within two or three blocks of this hotel, it is right across from the Recoleta Cemetary, and a flea market is held across from the yard every Sunday. Pharmacies, banks, and exchange houses are also right nearby.
  
  The only bad thing was that the lobby could use some updating...other than that it was good value for the price.

  The rooms at etoile are really big and for sure the location is the best in buenos aires.
