  Have stayed at the Vincci Soma twice; first when it was still Hotel Bauza and then in its new incarnation as a Vincci. We love the Salamanca district with it's wealth of shopping, restaurants and convenient location to the rest of Madrid. The breakfast buffet is one of the most appealing we've had anywhere in Europe. The rooms are modern, clean, comfortable. The hotel staff is courteous, knowledgeable and friendly. I wouldn't hesitate staying there again.

  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Vincci Soma. Service was excellent. Rooms were very neat and contemporary. We didn't dine in the restaurant, but did enjoy tapas in the bar which was a nice experience. The hotel is in the Salamance area, a busy modern retail/residential area. It's a 30 minute walk from the city centre, but a Metro stop is right across the street from your hotel and the Madrid Metro system is fantastic -- very easy to get around.
