  Pros: This hotel was very conveniently located on the Alameda. It is safe walking distance to the Zocalo, the Teatro Hidalgo, the Bellas Artes, two subway stops, and many other things. The room and the whole building is very safe, clean, and modern. The entire staff is extremely helpful and friendly, and most of them speak English. I also heard members of the staff speaking French. Cons: They charge for bottled water and coffee in the room. The restaurants are not great and overpriced, and they're not open during the posted hours. Overall, the hotel itself has a very generic, corporate feel--no Mexican personality (other than the staff). If you want a ""Mexican"" experience, don't stay here, but if you want a place that is clean and safe, convenient, easy, and friendly, this is a great place to stay.

  You will be surprised and impressed at this hotel. Great bar in the lobby. Concierge is knowledgeable and professional. Overall a great hotel. Best Sheraton I have stayed at and would recommend for both the business traveller as well as the vacationer.

  The lobby and room are kept very clean and staff were attentive. We had wonderful experiences throughout our stay.The only thing that needs improvement is the hotel's concierge service. When we asked about public transportation they did not give too much information and often recommended hotel cab, which is very, very expensive. With the kind of customers they have at the hotel that is understandable but if customer asked for a certain question they should give the info they are looking for. But overall, our stay was confortable and we would definitely go back.
