  I agree with other travelers that the hotel is in proximity of most transportation. The staff is friendly and very helpful. We were on the second floor and the bathroom including the bath curtain was not thoroughly cleaned. Some bleach would definitely get rid of the grown bacteria. We had a family suite on the second floor. The rooms were ok, a little thorough dusting would help. We had a dripping pipe and they fixed it the same day we complained. Every day we had fresh towels. Contrary to other guests reviews, we had a big closet with hangers. I am very picky when it comes on to bathroom so my stay wasn't great. however, if anyone is traveling with a family I would say try this hotel. There is a bakery to your left when you get out the villa, do not buy anything there. they are very unfriendly. the one to your right is a tiny cafe, eat breakfast there. There are so many things to do in Paris. Take an itinerary with you. There is a mall in the walking distance from the hotel that has Galleries of Lafayette.

  The location was very convenient, lots of cafe's within walking distance, the metro was a couple of blocks away and it was a quieter neighborhood, which was something we liked. We had a Starbucks across the street, McDonald's a couple of blocks from us. The room is small, we were on winter hours in April so did not have air conditioning. The room was a bit hot in the day but at night very cool with the window's open. Some street noise. The staff was helpful but not overly friendly. We felt very safe in the area.

  As a single female traveller, i liked that although the hotel was on a ""busy"" street, that section of the block at night became rather quiet, but remained well lit.
