  The Catamaran Resort met and exceeded my expectations. The rooms were clean and kept clean, the pool and hot tub are huge, the service was friendly and the grounds are well maintained and lush with plants. We had a studio room with a kitchen, which although lacked a wine opener, was stocked with necessary kitchen items, and was large enough to accomodate four people. Our 2 & 4 year olds loved the pool, the room, the elevator, the koi ponds (at the hotel), Sea World and the Zoo, which were within easy driving distance. I would very highly recommend the Catamaran, especially traveling with a family. Even the guests were very friendly!

  We loved the Catamaran Resort and Spa. The location was great, right on the beach on the gulf, within a block of the ocean side. Both the gulf and the ocean beaches had walking/ biking paths. The trolley picks up at this resort twice in the morning and returns in the evening, so it was easy to get into the main part of the city for sightseeing. Our room was clean, beds comfortable, equipped with fridge and coffee maker., and overlooked a lovely garden. We loved the pool and the hot tub. We didn't use the spa or the fitness facility. The restaurant was very nice, (a bit pricey). We enjoyed the piano bar. There were a myriad of restaurants and bars within walking distance. The staff was friendly and helpful. I definitely would stay again.

  Booked the Catamaran on Travelocity. Great Deal on a very nice place to stay. We stayed at a luxury hotel for the same money as it would have cost in hotel circle. Beautiful surroundings, very comfortable. Very satisfying experience. Stayed on "Penthouse floor" which we didn't know we were getting until we got there. Fantastic view. Friendly staff too. Daughter lives in SD so we were on the run a lot had our meals elsewhere. Also, used her car and avoided the parking fees. Would stay here again.

  We didn't get the room we expected. The room we got was ok, but did not have an espectially good view of the bay. The bed was not real comfortable - real hard. We had a light bulb burned out in our room and had to ask twice to get it replaced. The people were very friendly and informative. The grounds were beautiful and I loved all the water features.
