  The pictures are deceiving. The rooms are old and dirty. The pictures you see on the web are representing only 1 room that they actually offer. I would not stay again. Plus, they are untrust worthy. We paid our bill in cash where there was 3 of us (including the Hilton staff member) counting the cash together, it all balanced with the bill, however 10 minutes later they called our room to say we were $* short. I have been to London 7 times in 4 years, there are a lot better hotels in the same area. Do your homework first!

  Our room in this hotel was extremely dirty and smelly, the bathroom was full of mildew and mold. Dirty and threadbare towels. The bed smelled and was hard as a rock. When we checked in the person on duty was very unhelpful and rude. The night time staff at this hotel was helpful and eventually gave us a new room.

  The personnel at this hotel were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was clean - but small, if we were not out and about all day exploring the sites, it would have been hard to stay in the room with two people. Any time we needed anything we were well taken care of. Location of the hotel was excellent - next to two tube stations, one being tied to Paddington Station which takes you directly to the Heathrow Airport. Very easy to get around from.

  This Hotel was great for this first time London visitor. It's very close to the tube and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean. Even though it's on a major street it was quiet.

  Our entire family stayed here for 5 nights. We had 4 rooms. You could not ask for a better location in London--it is literally across the street from Hyde Park and the Tube stop is around the corner. Nearby streets have great pubs, shopping and restaurants to choose from. The pub a few doors down had excellent food. We had a delicious dinner in the hotel restaurant the first night, which was included in our room rate. Get the sticky toffee pudding for dessert. The breakfast is good but expensive for the quality, unless you can get it included in your room rate. The rooms varied widely depending on which part of the hotel you were in. We had a great view overlooking the park on the 4th floor. Rooms are decent-sized for London, (small by American standards but you're not in America). My parents' room was not as nice. They were in the older part of the hotel in what must have been the original home's servants quarters. Their room had steps leading down to the bathroom. Everything was clean and the location just can't be beat for the price. We definitely plan to stay here again. Our one complaint was that internet was not included in the room price and was very expensive. We went down the street to an internet cafe to check our business email. That was very inconvenient and not in keeping with what one expects in an American hotel chain.
