  While the hotel is in a descent location and is in good condition and cleanly, the staff were just awful. While the hotel is run by Hasidic Jews,who generally know little about western standards of hospitality, the front desk staff seemed oddly enough to be Arabic, from the ME or something, and not only had no personality or any French charm, but spoke lackluster English, but most importantly put no effort in helping me out in directing me to some local sites and events to go to. WORSE, THEY DOUBLE CHARGED ME FOR MY STAY!! While at the other hotels I booked through Travel website, all I had to do was sign a form at the hotel site, as they were aware that I had prepaid(even if I wasn't sure how the payment would work), this hotel took my credit card and charged me on the spot. Later that week, I see both charges from the hotel and Travel! I am still waiting already 6 months to be refunded! Maybe they have new, better staff by now but who knows.

  Hotel was marginally clean. breakfast consisted of 4-5 types of bread, just left out uncovered. breakfast area was filthy, no one to supervise. subway actually 4 blocks away.

  I submitted a review right after our stay and it was posted here but then removed-- why?
  People rely on these reviews. I know I did, and I was misled by the positive reviews of this hotel. It is NOT GOOD. If someone had told the truth, I would not have stayed there.

  Hotel was marginally clean. ""Continental breakfast"" consists of 3-4 varieties of bread, just left out uncovered. Breakfast area was FILTHY. No one seemed to be overseeing it. Subway is actually FOUR BLOCKS from the hotel, not ""feet away."" Would not go back.

  I loved this Montreal kosher hotel, the price was right for breakfast, parking, high speed, and no charges for local calls. I am not kidding. We walked out of their for less than $* with all that.

  Nice place for the price with the free parking and breakfast .Walking distance to the subway.Helpful staff even though they messed up with the wake up call by calling one hr early. Overall Good place to stay if you planning to the see the city whole day and just need the room for bed and to freshen up.
