Hotel was very clean and staff were courteous and helpful. The breakfast was good, a lot to choose from and there was a staff member present to attend to any needs. Would definately stay here again.

Overall the hotel was very good with respect to amenities like clean bathrooms, beds etc. We had one double bed and one sofa bed the size of a double bed, so we slept four in one room. Not much space in the room but we understand that European hotel accomodations are not very spacious. Do not take huge suitcases as there is no space to put them. No closets either but there was a space to hang clothes. The continental breakfast was great. Lots of meat, cakes, fruit, eggs, bacon, cereal, bread, croissants, cheese, juice, coffee and tea. The staff were friendly and answered our questions and gave directions. The only drawback (if you can call it that!) was the 3 block walk to the metro station or the bus stop. However, it was not a hardship unless it was raining and you had no umbrella. Also the nearest eating place is about a block from the hotel. Not too many of them but we did find a great deli which also had cooked food about two blocks from the hotel. Altogether a good experience!

There simply may be no decent, reasonably priced hotels in Rome, so let?s abandon any discussion of value for price. Here at least the rooms are light, clean and reasonably sized, though lacking any drawers for your clothes. The breakfast is nice and substantial, including espresso or capuchino to order. Hotel is locatec in a residential neighborhood outside the old Roman walls, but 20-30 minutes by bus to Colosseum, Forum, Piazza Venezia, etc, or 15 minute walk to the Metro with connections throughout the city. But on the other hand - Most rooms front on a courtyard which on our first night was rented out to party celebrating a baptism ? thus we couldn?t sleep until well after midnight. Staff and manager apologized but couldn?t solve the problem. Rooms that don?t front the courtyard are in view (and earshot) of the main train tracks to Termini Station. Staff speak reasonable though not great English, internet is available in the lobby or by unsecure wifi for a modest price. Rooms have phone and TV, no fridge, very limited space to wash clothes. Ventilation/air conditioning is questionable ? we had to rely on the windows, thus more noise.
