This hotel is okay, and I would stay there again. The location for me was ideal since I spent most of my time in that area. Normally I stay in Makati, Dusit or Intercon. I felt this location was more central. However, it; The Pavilion; needs some renovation. My room; Ambassador Sweet 12th Floor; has a nice plan. I would like to see new carpet and new paint. Change the faucet fixtures which is relatively cheap to do in the Philippines. Add some air fresheners throughout if it is possible and there where some small bugs. The pool needs some more work, perhaps take a look at some of the pools at the hotels in Makati for comparison. In all, the hotel is nice, the breakfast buffet is awesome and the staff was very helpful and friendly. I really enjoyed the WiFi, that is a plus from me. Give this hotel a chance at least once to see for yourself.

The free breakfast buffet was worth the price of the room. They even set up a special birthday wish for which I knew nothing about. IT WAS A BIG SURPRISE to me. There were a few very minor items that could be corrected, like the carpet needing replaced or cleaned. Overall a great hotel and instead of spending only a few days there, the next time I will spend my whole trip there. I changed hotels after the 4th day but wished I hadn't Very friendly and helpful staff, I don't care what anyone says a great and secure place. I will be back.

Checked in to find two disturbingly filthy Deluxe Rooms. The carpet was literally worn through to the backing, black filth embedded into the carpet from end to end. Mysterious stains on all walls and the bathroom was disgusting. We turned around and proceeded to check out. I would not leave my K9 in this hotel. Don't be fooled by the in house casino. Don't get me wrong, I'm not some spoiled traveler needing the best of everything, but this hotel was nothing less then gross and I would not have my family exposed to this. I immediately got online in the lobby and booked another room at Pan Pacific Manila online. Sorry to be so brutal, but that was really a bad experience.

I was the only foreigner/white guy there. It was mostly booked with rich Asians. Casino was @ low standards & low odds compared to most Nevada gaming. Do not use the hotel shuttle from the air port. They charge more than twice what a cab would charge. Hotel is maybe a 3 star.

I travelled with my son to Manila for sightseeing. I once stayed at this hotel five years ago. I chose a better type of room which cost $. The room was very, very old furnished and with bad smell. I think the room has not been used. The facilities in the room were old fashioned, including the TV, bed and wardrobe, etc. The chairs were dirty and with stains that I dared not sit or touch it. The bathtub was terribly old and inhygien. This hotel is a 1 star hotlel. My son and I were really disappointed. I reflected my feelings to the supervisor but I received no reply. It is because I booked the room through a web travel site as I have already paid the money to web travel site before I stay there. On the contrary, the staff especially the gate security were very kind and polite. But the room condition was so bad that I could not stand it. I will delete the hotel in my mind.
